"ANGELS IN ACTION"

      

        The 505th Search and Rescue Group was visited by Colonel Yuichiro Hirai of Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) on 13 September 2016. The visit was part of 1st Philippine Air Force and Japan Air Self-Defense Force (PAF-JASDF) Airman to Airman Talks 2016.
       Col Dennis G Estrella, the 505th SRG Group Commander, briefed Col Hirai on the unit capabilities. Likewise, a static display of unit helicopter's various Humanitarian and Disaster Response Equipment was presented to Col Hirai and his party. 
       The activity promoted greater cooperation among PAF & JASDF on areas of mutual concern more particularly HADR operations.
