"Parangal ng Kadakilaan"

The 505th Search and Rescue Group, Philippine Air Force is deeply honored to have been awarded by the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) Region IV-A the BaKas (Bayaning Likas) Parangal ng Kadakilaan for the unit's humble accomplishments in providing prompt Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response in CALABARZON Region.

The Awarding Ceremony was held at the Development Academy of the Philippines, Tagaytay City last 29 November 2016 with no less than the NDRRMC Executive Director and OCD Administrator, USEC RICARDO B. JALAD as Guest of Honor.

This annual event was attended by various Local Government Chief Executives, representatives from different AFP Units, Government Agencies and Civil Organizations; and it aims to recognize various individuals and organizations for their unyielding efforts in the field of Disaster Risk-Reduction Management, and Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response.

Once again, the Angels dedicate this recognition to Almighty God, to the Angels' families and friends, to the Philippine Air Force and to the Filipino people.
